Esteban Garibay
Maître d'
Esteban Garibay has been an integral part of Manresa since David Kinch opened his first restaurant, Sent Sovi in Saratoga. Longtime guests will recognize his friendly welcome at the door and his attention to detail in the dining room. Garibay began his restaurant career as a busboy and was determined to learn every aspect of the restaurant business. Encouraged by Kinch, he learned all he could by working double duty as prep cook in the mornings and moving to the front of the house in the afternoons. Immersed with knowledge from the kitchen, his expertise helped him make a seamless transition into restaurant management. Each evening he facilitates communication between the kitchen and the dining room during dinner service. Along with General Manager Michael Kean, his top priority is to maintain high standards of hospitality and to train and oversee the service staff.
Born in Michoacan, Mexico, Garibay came to the United States with his older brother in 1989 and began his career in restaurants. His proudest achievements are his wife and two sons. In his spare time he loves to ride and care for his horses and he currently competes on the TRCA roping circuit. |
