Love Apple Farms Manresa's vegetables and other products are produced exclusively at Cynthia Sandberg's Love Apple Farms in the nearby Santa Cruz Mountains. The farm originally became known for growing dozens of varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Cynthia Sandberg, the owner, uses biodynamic and organic principles for farming the property, which was originally a mountain vineyard and winery with optimal Southern exposure and terraced hillsides. | |
Manresa and Love Apple Farms, located fifteen minutes from the restaurant, work closely together several seasons in advance to not only manage the diversity of products destined for the kitchens, but to make sure that proper amounts are produced. All restaurant compost goes back to Love Apple Farms to complete the circle of land, kitchen and client.
